My God and my Savior, Redeemer and Friend- my eternal Hope, my foundation.  I come before you seeking guidance for my precious children.

Guide me as I seek to protect them, but also to let them learn through doing-through struggle.  Forgive me for times when I let my fears dictate my actions as a parent, instead of resting in the shadow of your wings and trusting in your provision.

I pray that my children will be strong and courageous (Joshua 1:7-9), that they will seek you when they are afraid(Ps. 34:4) and know from an early age that their strength comes not from themselves- but from their identity in You.

Redeem my mistakes Lord- may it all be used for your glory.  I lift these petitions before you in and through the name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.
