Ending the Year in Thankful Praise

Feeling the Freedom of Joy

I could not end last year nor begin this year without acknowledging one of the most life transforming practices which God, in his infinite grace and mercy, has enabled me to put into practice.

As I count gifts with my family- as I see and acknowledge God’s many daily blessings- he fills me with joy, peace, and confidence in Him who I place my trust.

Psalm 62:5-8

For God alone my soul waits in silence,
for my hope is from him.
He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress; I shall not be shaken.
On God rests my deliverance and my honor;
my mighty rock, my refuge is in God.
Trust in him at all times, O people;
pour out your heart before him;
God is a refuge for us.

As we acknowledge the blessings you lavishly pour out into our lives Lord- may joy and gratitude fill us.  May we be ever watchful, anticipating the day of your return.
