This week’s theme/challenge:

LOVE

Kari Jobe’s song What Love is This has been one of my favorites since the summer.  I had been studying Romans for several months- it was life-changing.  For the first time in my Christian life I daily pondered what God has done for me.  It felt like a tidal wave struck my heart and I was drowned in His love.  This song articulates so well how my heart responds to the love of our Savior- I am overwhelmed and grateful that I keep finding open arms.

This week’s theme/challenge:

T.V./MOVIE SOUNDTRACK

With two young children at home, I spend most of my time watching VeggieTales with the occasional musical tucked in (Singing in the Rain is a current favorite).

My daughter loves Sweetpea Beauty.  The verse they use with this princess story is 1 Samuel 16:7 For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”

Our culture inundates young women with lies about what beauty is and how you obtain it.  And I pray that my daughter, from a young age, will value herself as a child of God- and that her unique inner beauty granted to her by God will hold strong against the battering lies of this world.

Enjoy You’re Beautiful by Nicole Nordeman.

This week’s theme/challenge:
What song has God used this week to speak to you?

I have kept listening to this song by Addison Road ever since a fellow blogger shared it.  God has been speaking to me about holiness-  how He calls us to be holy as He is holy.  That seems like an impossible task- but with our God all things are possible.  :)  Enjoy “What do I know of holy?”
