God’s timing is perfect, His time is perfect, and His view of time is perfect.
We rush things, we are biased, our view is limited.
He sees all the choices that we have made, are making, and will make- who better to give us advice about what we should be doing with our time?
Ecclesiastes 3:11–He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
Our flesh may not want us to consider the effects of our decisions beyond the present moment, yet God desires to work in our lives to help us live fully now, and make decisions that will further bless and provide for us in the days to come.
We only have this one life.
How will we choose to spend our minutes?
My hope and prayer is to not waste a second.
To drink fully of all the rich blessings of life.
To live with joy.
Every day- Give Thanks.
For we are not promised tomorrow- nor do we know how many tomorrows we will have.
Let’s make the most of today.
And lay at God’s feet the questions, the worries, the fears- they steal time.
John 10:10–The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
In His time, In His time
He makes all things beautiful in His time
Lord please show me every day
As your teaching me your way
That you do just what you say
In Your Time.*
Lord, help me let go of my timing, and release my desire to control the sequence of my life’s events. In waiting, Lord, may I seek You. In times of grief and struggle, may my arms reach for you. In times of joy and thanksgiving, may I invite you to celebrate with me and acknowledge that you are the giver of all good gifts. Help me release my need to understand and manipulate life events according to what I can see, and simply petition you- the God who sees. The God who sees me. In Jesus Name, Amen.
